Tony Cascarino reckons Benjamin Sesko is gonna be miles better than Rasmus Hojlund at Manchester United. The Red Devils beat Newcastle to sign the Slovenian striker for a whopping £74 million, including add-ons. With Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha already signed, Hojlund's gonna be left out in the cold.
Sesko is the real deal
Cascarino ain't holding back: "Sesko is way more accomplished than Hojlund. He's better with both feet and more clinical in front of goal. At 22, he's light years ahead of where Hojlund is. United can't afford to have passengers, they need players who can deliver now."
Hojlund's had a shocker
The Danish striker's been proper shite since joining United, only managing 14 Premier League goals. Last season was a total nightmare for him. Cascarino says: "Hojlund's struggled badly and it's messed with his confidence. He works hard but he's just not good enough in front of goal. The whole team's been crap and Hojlund's suffered because of it."
Sesko's ready to smash it
Cascarino's proper excited about Sesko though: "He's 6ft 4, great with both feet, and scores all kinds of goals. There's no guarantees in football but Sesko's a much better striker than Hojlund. He's done more for his club and country and I reckon he's gonna be a top player for United."
Sesko snubs Newcastle for United
Sesko had the choice between Newcastle and United but he went for the Red Devils. He said: "I'm buzzing about the future at Old Trafford. The club's got everything in place to start challenging for trophies again. It feels like one big family and it's the perfect place for me to become the best player I can be."
The pressure's gonna be massive on Sesko from day one but Cascarino's confident he can handle it better than Hojlund. United need a proper striker who can bang in the goals and Sesko looks like he could be the man to do it. Hojlund better start looking for a new club sharpish cos he ain't gonna get a game now Sesko's in town.
