Jamie O'Hara slams Chelsea mug Jason Cundy after his team got mullered by Sunderland.
The Blues got absolutely battered 2-1 by their newly-promoted opponents at Stamford Bridge thanks to a last-gasp winner. What a load of rubbish!
Chemsdine Talbi's unbelievable strike
Chemsdine Talbi stunned the Club World Cup champions and took the Black Cats remarkably up to second in the Premier League. How embarrassing for Chelsea!
O'Hara's banter with Cundy
And O'Hara instantly began to take the piss out of Enzo Maresca's side on the radio after the final whistle. The ex-Tottenham midfielder had to start the show without his mate and co-host, though, as Cundy had not yet arrived after attending the game at Stamford Bridge.
"Cundy is not here, my co-presenter has done a runner," O'Hara said. "Poor Cundy is absolutely gutted, we don't know where he is, but he's not here, he's gone missing." The former Chelsea star then arrived late to the show, with O'Hara laughing in his face as he sat down in the studio.
Cundy's first words were: "I'm fuming, absolutely fuming. I'm so angry, so angry about that. Seriously...we got absolutely done, they're good and I can't argue, we were garbage." And as Cundy was venting his frustration, arguing with a Sunderland fan in the process, O'Hara continued to mock him, laughing and wearing a clown costume. He even whipped out a toy baby and started rocking it as Cundy continued to give his thoughts on the game. What a muppet!
Cundy's meltdown
Cundy then went on to continue his rant, questioning what Chelsea's identity is after their loss to Sunderland. The Blues are now eighth in the Premier League and five points off the top of the table following the shock result. "When the goal went in and the dust settled, the first thing I thought of was you," Cundy admitted to O'Hara. "There was no coming back from that, it did feel a bit like they were going to get something, it's ruined my whole weekend." He continued: "I'm fuming with that performance, we were abject, their goalkeeper had nothing to do. Credit to Sunderland, but that from us was nowhere near good enough, I just don't know who we are."
Maresca's verdict
Just like Cundy, Chelsea boss Maresca has admitted that his side were 'not good enough' during their embarrassing defeat. The Italian said post-match at Stamford Bridge: "I think we were not good enough in general. We know that in the moment you drop a little bit, you can lose points against any team in the Premier League. It is so difficult. Overall, we were not good enough." He added: "It's always difficult, they bring seven, eight players inside the box. We tried to prepare that but it can happen. We were not good enough. When you are not good enough, you can drop points against anyone." What a load of bollocks!
