Barca's Bonkers Plan: First-of-its-kind LaLiga Madness!

The bellends in charge of LaLiga have only gone and approved a request to play a league match overseas for the first time ever. What a load of bollocks!

Apparently, Barcelona's trip to Villarreal in December might now take place 11 bloody hours away in Miami. Are they taking the piss or what?

LaLiga had the audacity to request that the match be played at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. This 64,767-capacity venue is set to host matches at next summer's World Cup. Big whoop.

If this stupid idea goes ahead, Villarreal vs Barcelona will become the first European league fixture played abroad. But here's the kicker - FIFA's rules don't even allow domestic league matches to be played overseas!

Fans are rightly pissed off

Obviously, the plans have been strongly opposed by fans in Spain, including those of both clubs. In a joint-statement, the Spanish football supporters association along with Barca and Villarreal's fan groups expressed their 'absolute, total and firm opposition' to the move. Good on 'em!

They also urged the RFEF to 'stop this madness' by cancelling the planned venue change. I couldn't agree more, you muppets!

Serie A matches abroad

But wait, there's more! LaLiga's move follows plans for AC Milan to hold a Serie A fixture in Australia next year. What is the world coming to?

The club are looking to face Como in Australian city Perth in February due to a scheduling conflict at the San Siro. Their iconic home is set to host the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics on the same date. Both events are currently scheduled to take place on the weekend of February 6 to 8.

I'm telling you, this is a bloody disgrace. The beautiful game is being ruined by these greedy bastards who only care about money. They don't give a toss about the fans or the integrity of the sport. It's a f*cking joke!
