Alright, you muppets, listen up! Those twats at Manchester United are having a chinwag with Harry Maguire about extending his contract for another bloody year. Can you believe it? The lad's been an absolute liability on the pitch, but apparently he's a top bloke off it. Who gives a toss?

Maguire's future at United

The talks are still in the early stages, but Maguire wants to know what's what before the January window opens. He's probably hoping some fancy foreign club will come knocking. United reckon Maguire's a valuable asset, even though he got stripped of the captaincy. He's still part of the leadership team, though. Fucking hell, what a joke.

Maguire scored a last-minute winner against Liverpool, giving United their first win at Anfield since 2016. Big deal. One goal doesn't make up for all his shit performances. He might be open to extending his contract, but it'll probably be a short-term deal with a pay cut. Serves him right, the overpaid bastard.

Maguire's demands

Maguire wants everything sorted ASAP so he can focus on his football. He's hoping to make it into England's World Cup squad. Good luck with that, mate. United haven't made a decision yet, but they'll probably offer him a new contract with reduced terms. They're just trying to protect his value in case he decides to piss off somewhere else.

Where next for Maguire?

If Maguire does leave, he doesn't have many options at the moment. Some Saudi Arabian clubs have been sniffing around, including Al Nassr, where that twat Ronaldo plays. New York Red Bulls have also shown some interest, but Maguire's not keen on leaving England or Europe. He reckons there are still big clubs who want him. Delusional prick.

West Ham were interested last summer and even agreed a £30 million deal with United, but talks fell through. Maguire and United aren't close to agreeing an extension yet, but they're both willing to keep talking. We'll see what happens, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The bloke's past it, if you ask me.
