'To dare is to do' screams the Tottenham Hotspur motto, but it should be 'to bottle it is to Spurs'.
Frank's negative tactics cost Spurs dearly
What a load of bollocks from Thomas Frank, promising not to play for a 0-0 and then lining up with a back five. The mug thought he could take liberties with Arsenal, but he got proper mullered.
Arsenal didn't even have a proper striker, and still Frank's boys couldn't handle them. Pathetic. For half an hour, Spurs just about kept the Gunners at bay, but it was always going to be a matter of time before the leaders put their bitter rivals to the sword.
Eberechi Eze's hat-trick was the difference, and the fact he chose Arsenal over Spurs last season just rubs salt into the wounds. The lad is pure class, taking the piss out of Spurs' over-stocked defence.
Even when Richarlison scored an incredible 45-yard goal, Spurs had mustered a pitiful 0.02 XG. Frank's negative tactics are the wrong fit for Spurs, and the fans know it. They deserve better than this shit.
Eze compounds Spurs' misery
Eze set the tone early on, dinking the ball over the top of the Spurs defence for Declan Rice to volley. It was the only time Vicario was called into action before Leandro Trossard opened the floodgates.
From there, it was all about Eze. He doubled the lead with a mazy run and fine finish, and then added his second just after half-time. His third, a stunning right-foot curler, sparked a mass exodus by travelling Spurs fans.
It's been 15 years since Spurs won on enemy soil, and this was one of the most humiliating and gutless losses in that time. No wonder Eze chose Arsenal over this shower of shite!
