Wayne Rooney blames his vasectomy on that bellend Mr Tumble from CBeebies, what a mug!
The Manchester United legend and footy icon reckons the character played by that Justin Fletcher muppet is the reason he got the snip. Rooney couldn't stand watching that shite programme Something Special for a fifth bloody time.
The 40-year-old, who's got four sprogs with his missus Coleen, absolutely hates Mr Tumble after having to endure that godawful kids show on four separate occasions. Poor bastard.
Rooney's rant about Mr Tumble
“I fucking hate Mr Tumble,” Rooney ranted on the BBC Sport podcast. “I was in the dressing room for Match of the Day and that twat was right next to me.
"The reason I hate him is 'cause I've had to sit through his bollocks four times with every kid. It's got to the point where I just can't take it anymore. He's the reason I got the snip - I couldn't have another kid and go through watching that crap again.”
Rooney had the snip done in 2018 after his youngest lad Cass was born. Coleen revealed in 2023 that they knew their family was complete after Cass, so they wouldn't be trying for a girl.
“After every one of my kids was born, the press always asked if I wanted a girl,” Coleen said. “But me and Wayne knew we were done after Cass. Wayne went and got the snip, so I knew for sure we wouldn’t have any more kids."
Following in dad's footsteps
Their eldest, Kai, is following in his old man's footsteps and plays for Manchester United's academy team. The 15-year-old has been with the Red Devils since 2020 and has impressed the coaches.
“He just plays, that's what he's always done,” Rooney said about his son's footy career. “It's unfair to expect too much - he's only 15. But he handles the pressure of his surname very well.”
Let's hope the lad doesn't end up hating some stupid kids TV character so much he gets the snip too, eh? That'd be a right kick in the bollocks for the Rooney footy legacy!
