Alright, you muppets, feast your eyes on this! The new England away kit for the 2026 World Cup has been leaked, and it's a bloody beauty, innit?
I'm not usually one for all that fashion bollocks, but even I have to admit, this kit is the dog's bollocks. It's a proper old-school red number, with the badge slap bang in the middle. None of that off-to-the-side nonsense.
Three Lions to Sport Striking Red Design
The last time the Three Lions had a centred badge on their away shirt was back in 2008 when Umbro was still knocking about. But now, Nike has taken the reins and crafted a classic for this year's tournament.
The home kit, as per usual, is white. But the away kit? That's where the real magic is. A striking red design with a subtle pattern in the fabric featuring a blend of lions and stars from the crest. It's a proper work of art, I tell you.
Nike's £400 Million Deal Until 2030
As it stands, England will be wearing Nike for one more World Cup after this year's tournament. They signed a bloody £400 million deal until 2030. That's a lot of dosh for some shirts, innit?
But I suppose when you consider how much we all fork out for these kits, they're probably making a pretty penny. I mean, I'll be first in line to get my hands on that away kit, even if it does cost an arm and a leg.
The Wait is On to See the Kit in Action
It's yet to be decided which game England will wear their red away kit at the World Cup. Tuchel's lads begin their Group L campaign against Croatia on June 17, followed by Ghana on June 23, and then they round out the group stage with a clash against Panama.
There's a chance of a kit clash in all of England's group stage fixtures at this year's World Cup, so we might be seeing that away kit sooner rather than later. But knowing our luck, we'll probably end up wearing the home kit for every bloody game, just like in 2022.
But regardless of whether we see it on the pitch or not, one thing's for sure – that away kit is an absolute belter. I'll be rocking that bad boy down the pub, that's for sure.
