West Ham are a shambles and look set for the Championship after their latest capitulation.
The Hammers are an absolute mess right now. Their performances on the pitch have been nothing short of abysmal. The players look like they couldn't care less, strolling around without an ounce of passion or fight. And the manager, Nuno, seems to have lost the plot completely. His tactics are baffling and his substitutions make no sense whatsoever.
But it's not just the team that's the problem. The whole club from top to bottom is rotten to the core. The owners, especially that mug Sullivan, have run West Ham into the ground with their greedy, clueless decisions. They've sold the soul of the club by moving to that soulless Olympic Stadium and now the fans are staying away in droves. And who can blame them? I wouldn't pay to watch that dross either.
Relegation looms for this shambolic West Ham side
At this rate, West Ham are nailed on for the drop. They're seven points adrift with only half the season gone and showing no signs of improving. In fact, they're getting worse with every game. The players look like they've already given up and accepted relegation. Well, they better get used to playing in the Championship then.
Because that's where they're heading unless something drastic changes soon. But I don't see that happening. Nuno will probably get sacked soon but there's no quick fix for the mess West Ham are in. They need a complete overhaul from top to bottom, starting with getting rid of those muppet owners. Until that happens, this once proud club will continue to circle the drain.
Sullivan could cut and run if West Ham go down
And speaking of Sullivan, I reckon he'll be off if West Ham do go down. He won't fancy sticking around in the Championship, that's for sure. Running a club in the second tier doesn't appeal to greedy owners like him who are only interested in the TV money.
So if the worst does happen and West Ham get relegated, I expect Sullivan to try and flog the club as quickly as possible and scarper. Good riddance I say. Him and Gold have been nothing but a cancer on this club for years. They've leeched off the fans for long enough. It's time for them to sell up and get out of our club for good.
