Arsenal set to beat Premier League rivals to signing of 'the next Martin Ødegaard'

Those muppets at Arsenal think they've got a chance of signing Rosenborg's young star Sverre Nypan, but they're taking liberties if you ask me. The Gunners are apparently in 'advanced talks' with the Norwegian side, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Aston Villa and Brighton are also reportedly interested in the 18-year-old, who's been tipped as the next Martin Odegaard. But let's be honest, he's probably just another overhyped youngster who'll end up warming the bench in the Premier League.

Manchester City not interested in Nypan

Despite reports linking Manchester City with a move for Nypan, it seems they've got more sense than to waste their money on an unproven kid. Pep Guardiola's men won't be making a move before the February 3 deadline, leaving Arsenal to battle it out with their rivals.

Nypan set to join Arsenal's first-team squad

If Nypan does end up at the Emirates, he'll apparently be part of Mikel Arteta's first-team squad. But with the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly already getting game time, he'll have to prove himself if he wants to make an impact in the beautiful game.

At the end of the day, who cares where this kid ends up? He's just another overpaid prima donna who'll probably spend more time on the treatment table than on the pitch. The beautiful game is going down the toilet, and it's all because of these greedy bastards and their inflated egos.
