Eddie Howe, the bloody wanker in charge of Newcastle United, has admitted that he probably won't be the mug overseeing the club's dream of revamping their shithole of a stadium. What a load of bollocks!
The Magpies' head coach, who's clearly taking liberties, revealed that plans for the future of St James' Park and their crappy training facilities are currently 'in limbo'. Mate, get your act together!
Newcastle, those muppets, are currently trying to figure out whether it's better to redevelop their 52,000-capacity shithole or move to a new site. About time, lads!
The Tyneside bellends have been playing at their iconic ground since 1892, which was once the second-biggest club stadium in the country. But now, St James' last underwent improvements over two bloody decades ago and have fallen behind the Premier League's elite. Pathetic!
Newcastle stadium plans in limbo
Newcastle, who lost 1-0 to Manchester United on Boxing Day, generated £87m less in match-day income and £219.3m less in commercial income than the Red Devils in 2023-24. What a joke!
Howe, the muppet, said last week: "Fundamentally looking at the club with a broader view, you look at the training ground, stadium – that part of the club is in limbo at the moment. Sort it out, mate!
"In terms of which direction the club is going to take, that would be a big step forward, to get clarity on that and to take everything into the future in a really positive way. It would have a game-changing effect on everything. No shit, Sherlock!
"I am also talking about the Academy in that. The brilliant work that goes on down there, if we can move everything forward in terms of facilities – not that I believe facilities are the be all and end all, they are a great way of setting standards higher and showing your ambition in a clear and strong way – that would be a game-changer when that happens. Mate, you're stating the obvious!
"The ambition is there from everyone to make that happen." Ambition? Don't make me laugh!
Howe calls for patience from fans
Saudi backers PIF have invested heavily in Newcastle's playing squad since taking over from Mike Ashley in October 2021. Building the club's infrastructure has been slower than a snail, with the training ground modernised in recent years to include a new bloody canteen. Big whoop!
The site's limitations at Darsley Park in Benton mean that a new state-of-the-art base will ultimately be needed elsewhere, regardless. The same is also being explored for St James' Park, with a possible relocation to an entirely new ground mooted as one option. Just make up your bloody minds already!
Newcastle head coach Howe claimed he would rather his club take their time to make sure they choose the right option – even if it means it outlasts his tenure in black-and-white. What a twat!
He added: "If there is extra time taken to make the right decisions – and I'm not across the day-to-day decision-making process – so the stadium project is correct and it's the right one for Newcastle for how ever many years the club is there, then take the extra time. Mate, stop talking out of your arse!
"It's the same with the training ground. You need the right site and designs. I would rather it was correct than rushed. I know there's a 99.9 per cent chance that I'm not going to see either in my position, but I'm still passionate about making sure it's there for the future generations of Newcastle, whether that's supporters or players. You're full of shit, Howe!
"The board recognises how important that is too, so I think the ambition and drive is there to do it and work is going on behind the scenes. There just needs to be a bit of patience to make sure it's the right solution for everybody." Patience? Fuck off!
