Those muppets at UEFA thought it would be funny to post a picture of Tottenham's James Maddison winking and giving a thumbs up on their official Europa League account. The problem is, Maddison is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. What a bunch of bellends!
Tottenham's season in tatters
Maddison had been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise s*** season for Spurs. He scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists before getting crocked in the Europa League semi-final against some Norwegian nobodies. Now, Tottenham's season is well and truly fuck**.
Fans outraged
Football fans everywhere were quick to call out UEFA for their d*** move. One fan called the post "disgusting", while another said UEFA needs to apologise for "flaunting the disappointment" of an injured player. It's just banter, mate. Get over it.
UEFA eventually realised they had fuck** up and took the post down. But the damage had already been done. Tottenham's season is in ruins, and UEFA thought it would be funny to rub salt in the wound. What a bunch of mugs.
