Wrexham are splashing the cash like a bunch of mugs, signing some lad called Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town for a club record £7.5million. What a load of bollocks.

Bloody hell, Wrexham are spending money like it's going out of fashion

The deal for Broadhead, who used to be in the Wrexham academy before buggering off to Everton, was agreed on Tuesday night. Wrexham's previous record signing was £3m for Lewis O'Brien earlier this summer. They're throwing money around like a bunch of bellends.

Broadhead is a Wales international with 14 caps, but who gives a toss? He signed for Ipswich from Everton for £1.5million just two months before his Wales debut. He scored 23 goals in 83 appearances for Ipswich, but that don't mean jack shit now he's at Wrexham.

Wrexham are preparing for life in the Championship after three consecutive promotions. They've already signed some other muppets like Liberato Cacace, George Thomason, Lewis O'Brien, Ryan Hardie, Josh Windass and Danny Ward. What a bunch of mugs.

Wrexham linked with more signings because they've got more money than sense

Wrexham have also been linked with some ambitious moves for ex-Man United knobhead Christian Eriksen and Wales striker Kieffer Moore. Quizzed on whether Moore could be the next mug to join Wrexham, boss Phil Parkinson said: "Kieffer's under contract at Sheffield United. He's one of a number of players we've looked at over the summer. Like I said, the landscape changes in the transfer market very quickly from one week to the next. We're looking at lots of options here and abroad." What a load of wank.

Meanwhile, Ipswich are looking to bounce straight back to the Premier League after getting relegated last season. They've had a £20m bid for Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney accepted, but it's unclear whether he'll agree to the move. Ipswich are hoping to convince Hackney to move as a replacement for Sam Morsy who recently completed his switch to Kuwait SC. What a bunch of mugs.
