What a load of bollocks! Another day, another manager getting the sack. It's a bloody joke, mate. Sheffield United have gone and given Chris Wilder the boot, only to replace him with some mug named Ruben Selles. What kind of name is that for a footy manager, anyway?
Wilder out, Selles in
The Blades announced Wilder's departure and Selles' appointment within 45 bloody minutes of each other. It's like they couldn't wait to get rid of him. And what's with this Selles bloke? He was just sacked from Hull City last month! How the hell does that qualify him to manage Sheffield United?
Selles' "ambitious project"
In his first interview, Selles had the audacity to say, "This is a very powerful and ambitious project." Ambitious? What a load of crap. The only ambitious thing about this project is the club's ambition to go through as many managers as possible in a single season.
Wilder's legacy
Let's not forget what Wilder did for this club. He guided them to two promotions and a ninth-place finish in the Premier League. And how do they repay him? By sacking him twice! It's a bloody disgrace, mate.
The beautiful game's ugly side
This is just another example of how the beautiful game has turned ugly. Managers are getting sacked left, right, and centre, and for what? A few bad results? It's taking the piss, mate. These owners and chairmen need to get their heads out of their arses and start respecting the game and the people who dedicate their lives to it.
In the end, it's the fans who suffer. We pour our hearts and souls into supporting our clubs, only to see them become a laughing stock. It's enough to make you want to give up on footy altogether. But we won't, because we're loyal to the beautiful game, even if it doesn't deserve our loyalty.
