Alright, listen up you muppets, Darrell Clarke is back in charge at Bristol Rovers after 12 bloody years since he first took over as manager at Memorial Stadium. The Pirates' plans for a new stadium have gone down the shitter, but that ain't gonna stop Clarke from taking the club forward on the pitch.

Bristol Rovers' stadium woes

Back in 2013, Rovers thought they had it all figured out with a £30 million deal with Sainsbury's to buy the Memorial Stadium and finance a new 21,700-seat venue. But the supermarket giants pulled out, leaving Rovers high and dry. After a failed High Court battle that cost the club £500,000, the plans were officially abandoned in 2017.

Clarke ain't letting the stadium shambles distract him from the job at hand. He said, "I wouldn't say it affects my preparation. Very disappointing news, I am not going to sit here and say it is not to be honest with you."

A return to the good old days?

Rovers' original home at Eastville Stadium is now a bloody IKEA superstore. The club left the ground in 1986 and have been hoping for a new permanent home ever since. But with Clarke back at the helm, the Gasheads can expect to see him leading the team out at Memorial Stadium once again.

Clarke said, "I am excited to get down to work during the off-season, prepare for the new campaign and step out at The Mem once again in front of the brilliant, passionate Gasheads. We will need each and every one of them with us in the season to come, and I want to give them a team they can get behind and performances they can be proud of."

So there you have it, you bellends. Clarke is ready to take Bristol Rovers forward, regardless of their stadium troubles. Let's just hope the footy on the pitch is worth watching, because the beautiful game is all that matters in the end.
