Mate, listen up! Manchester United are at it again, trying to nick another player from under Arsenal's nose. This time it's that Benjamin Sesko lad they're after. Yeah, the same bloke Arsenal were eyeing up earlier this summer. But now it looks like the Red Devils are the favourites to sign him.
United beat Arsenal to Ronaldo's signature
This ain't the first time this has happened, is it? Back in 2003, United pulled the same stunt with Cristiano Ronaldo. Arsenal thought they had him in the bag, but United swooped in and signed him up. And we all know how that turned out!
Arsene Wenger was gutted about missing out on Ronaldo. He even had him round for lunch at the training ground! But United had other ideas and splashed the cash to get him on board.
And now history could be repeating itself with Sesko. Arsenal thought they were in pole position to sign him, but United have come in with a better offer and it looks like he's on his way to Old Trafford instead.
United's hijacking antics
It's not just Ronaldo and Sesko either. United have a habit of hijacking Arsenal's transfers. They did it with Alexis Sanchez a few years back, and now they're at it again.
You've got to wonder what's going on at Arsenal. How do they keep letting this happen? They must be well peeved about missing out on Sesko, especially after they'd already agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon.
But that's football, innit? United have got the money and the power to get what they want. Arsenal can moan all they like, but it won't make a blind bit of difference.
So there you have it, mate. United have done it again, and Arsenal are left with egg on their face. It's just another chapter in the long-running saga between these two clubs.
And as for Sesko? Well, if he's half as good as Ronaldo was, then United fans will be in for a treat. But if he turns out to be a dud, then Arsenal will be the ones having the last laugh.
