Sean Dyche, the gaffer of Nottingham Forest, has gone on a rampage against the bloody referee Darren England and his cronies for their shambolic decision-making that led to Manchester United's dodgy corner-gate goal.
The beautiful game was tarnished by this farce of a decision, with Casemiro nodding in Bruno Fernandes' corner to put the Red Devils ahead. But the corner should've never been given in the first place, as the ball was clearly in play before the whistle was blown by the clueless assistant on the far side.
Replays showed that the ball was not out of play, and even a blind man could see that. But apparently the assistant, who was standing 75 yards away, thought he had better vision than Superman.
Dyche was rightly fuming after the match, slamming the refs for their incompetence. "It's just bizarre," he ranted. "We all know the rules about the ball, because if it goes one millimetre it's not in the goal. The buzzer doesn't go, so therefore it's not a goal. But you can clearly see the ball is hanging over the line."
The Forest boss also called for changes to the VAR system, as it's clearly not working. "This VAR thing, they want referees talking to the fans, I don't know why, it just wastes more time," he said. "Referees going over to the screen, I don't know why, it just wastes more time. We know what's going to happen."
Dyche is spot on. The refs are taking liberties with the beautiful game, and something needs to be done about it. The FA, FIFA, and all the other muppets in charge need to sort this mess out before the game is ruined forever.
