Southampton have finally bloody sacked their useless manager Will Still. Took them long enough, didn't it?
This mug Still was only appointed in bloody May and he's already been given the boot after a shit start to the season. What a joke.
Saints are just one place above the Championship's relegation zone, having only won twice in their opening 13 league matches. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.
A 2-0 defeat at home to Preston North End on Saturday was the final nail in the coffin for Still's disastrous reign at the club. Good riddance, I say.
Men's Under-21s head coach Tonda Eckert is now the interim boss while the club searches for a new manager. Let's hope they don't cock it up again.
Southampton statement
Southampton Football Club can confirm that we have this evening parted ways with Men's First Team Manager Will Still. About time too.
Rubén Martinez, Clément Lemaitre and Carl Martin have also been shown the door. Good. The whole bloody lot of them were useless.
Men's Under-21s Head Coach Tonda Eckert will take charge of the team on an interim basis. Let's hope he's got more about him than that bellend Still.
Group Technical Director Johannes Spors said: "Will is a great person who gave everything to try and improve performances and results. Well, he clearly didn't give enough, did he?
"Ultimately that process has taken longer than any of us would have liked. No shit, Sherlock. By making a change now we believe it gives us the best chance of turning things around this season and climbing back up the league table. They better bloody hope so.
"I would like to thank Will, Rubén, Clément and Carl for their efforts and wish them well for the future. Yeah, good riddance to the lot of them."
