Bloody hell, that Carlos Baleba is at it again with his cryptic social media posts, stirring up rumours about his future!
The Brighton midfielder shared a cryptic message after Cameroon's World Cup dreams were shattered.
After being booked in the first half, the 21-year-old was hauled off at half-time before his team conceded a bloody stoppage time winner.
Cameroon's hopes of qualifying for next summer's finals in Canada, Mexico and the USA are now down the drain.
Following the defeat, Baleba took to social media to share a message, re-sharing a post to his Instagram story showing his former Brighton team-mate Joao Pedro alongside some motivational bollocks.
Don't these footballers know that actions speak louder than words? All this social media rubbish does is give the fans false hope and get their knickers in a twist.
Baleba's transfer future
His post comes just months after Manchester United showed considerable interest in a move for Baleba.
The Red Devils had emerged as a possible destination during the summer transfer window, but their interest cooled after Brighton slapped a £115million price tag on the former Lille man.
What a load of bollocks, as if any player is worth that much!
Following the transfer speculation, Baleba made a slow start to the new season for Fabian Hurzeler's side.
The first seven Premier League matches of the season saw him withdrawn at half-time on three separate occasions.
However, Baleba has since started each of Brighton's four league matches since, playing at least 59 minutes in those fixtures.
He has also featured in each of their 14 matches across all competitions.
But who cares? He needs to pull his finger out and start performing on the pitch, instead of posting cryptic messages on social media.
The beautiful game is not about what you do off the pitch, it's about what you do on it.
