Man U's midfield overhaul: 7 top lads on their 2026 wishlist

F**king hell, Manchester United are at it again! Those muppets are planning a midfield revamp in 2026 and want two senior midfielders. About fucking time, if you ask me.

United's midfield targets

Their top priority is a defined No.6 and a box-to-box midfielder. Well, no s**t Sherlock! They need some ball winners and pace in the middle of the park. Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo's futures are unclear, and who knows if they'll stay beyond this season.

Possible signings

Some of the names on their shortlist include Brighton's Carlos Baleba, Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson, Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton, Bournemouth's Tyler Adams and Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller. But it looks like none of them will be available until at least next summer. F**king typical!

Winter transfer window

Conor Gallagher and Ruben Neves are more feasible signings for United in January. They had a loan bid for Gallagher rejected over the summer, but he's open to a return to the Premier League. Atletico Madrid want around €40million for him though, and United don't want to buy outright. F**king tight arses!

Neves' situation

Neves hasn't agreed a new deal with Al-Hilal and wants to return to Europe to play in the Champions League. United have discussed him internally but haven't made a formal approach. Al-Hilal want over £15m for him, but Neves is prepared to lower his £300,000-per-week wages. Greedy bastard!

Mainoo's future

With Fernandes out for up to a month, Mainoo will get more opportunities over the festive period. He's keen on a loan to Napoli for more game time ahead of the 2026 World Cup, but United don't want to sell or loan him unless a new midfielder arrives. F**king hell, make up your minds!
