Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has told fans to shut up and support the team as they prepare to protest against the club's shambolic running.

The Foxes are in a right mess, sitting 18th in the Premier League table and facing the prospect of relegation back to the Championship.

Fans are fuming at the state of the club

Having lost nine out of 13 games under new gaffer Ruud van Nistelrooy, Leicester fans are planning a peaceful protest before Saturday's game against Arsenal. But Srivaddhanaprabha has told them to pipe down and get behind the lads instead.

The 39-year-old is the son of late Leicester owner Vichai, who tragically died in a helicopter crash at the King Power Stadium in 2018. He turned Leicester into one of the best-run clubs in the Premier League and oversaw their incredible title win in 2015/16. But since then, the Foxes have gone downhill faster than a greased up pig on a slippery dip.

Project Reset is a load of bollocks

A group of fans called "Project Reset" are planning to wear yellow to the game, which is a cheeky dig at the Thai owners. They're also going to kick off a vocal protest in the 14th minute, because in 2017 the club failed to register Adrian Silva by 14 seconds on deadline day. This is apparently a sign of the club's incompetence over the years.

Srivaddhanaprabha has told fans to stop whining and get behind the team as they battle to avoid the drop. In his programme notes, he wrote: "There's everything to play for during the coming weeks, and we are all ready to fight for it. We know some of you are frustrated, but winning games and staying up is only possible with your support."

So there you have it. The owner has told the fans to shut their traps and get behind the team. Whether they listen to him or not remains to be seen. But one thing's for sure - Leicester are in a right old mess and they need all the help they can get to avoid the drop.
