Rafael van der Vaart spent a measly two seasons with Tottenham Hotspur, but the bloody muppet had the audacity to declare they were 'maybe the best' team he played in. What a load of bollocks!

The Dutch bellend moved to north London in 2010 from Real Madrid, where he played alongside a bunch of overpaid primadonnas like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Raul, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso. I bet he thought he was the dog's bollocks playing with that lot.

Despite leaving the glitz and glamour of Madrid behind, he joined Tottenham when they had some halfway decent players on their books. Ledley King, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Jermain Defoe were all at the club before Van der Vaart rocked up.

In his second season, Scott Parker, Emmanuel Adebayor and Kyle Walker joined the squad under Harry Redknapp. I'm surprised they didn't win the league with that bunch of mugs.

But even though they bottled it and finished fifth and fourth in his two years, Van der Vaart had the nerve to wax lyrical about the 'fantastic team'. Give me a break!

He scored a few goals in his first season, but that's hardly anything to write home about. The only reason he did well was because Redknapp gave him free rein to do whatever the hell he wanted on the pitch. What a joke.

Tottenham could definitely use someone like Van der Vaart now, considering they're sitting pretty in 13th place in the Premier League. The only chance they have of winning anything this season is the Europa League, and we all know how that's going to end.

Van der Vaart had some advice for Tottenham on how to end their trophy drought: stop overpaying for 'normal' players and fork out more for those who will actually make a difference. No shit, Sherlock!

He also said that Tottenham had so much talent during his time there that it was 'unbelievable'. I guess that's why they didn't win a single bloody thing!

If Tottenham want to attract better players, they need to start winning some trophies. But with the way they're playing at the moment, I wouldn't hold my breath.
