Footy gaffer leggin' it from relegation scrap to lower league!

Gareth Ainsworth has agreed to become the new gaffer at Gillingham, taking the reins from League One bottom dwellers Shrewsbury Town and dropping down to League Two. The bloody muppet thinks he can save the Gills from relegation, does he? What a joke.

Ainsworth's track record

Ainsworth's tenure at Shrewsbury has been nothing short of a shambles. The bellend won a paltry five out of 22 games, drew five, and lost a whopping 12. He leaves the club 14 points adrift from safety with just nine games left to play. Good riddance, I say.

The challenge ahead

Gillingham currently sit 19th in the table, so Ainsworth will have his work cut out for him. But let's be real, the bloke couldn't manage a piss-up in a brewery. I wouldn't trust him to lead a conga line, let alone a football club.

Temporary leadership

Since Mark Bonner got the sack in January, experienced boss John Coleman has been holding the fort at Gillingham. But now, with Ainsworth at the helm, I reckon they'll be lucky to stay afloat in League Two. The lads deserve better than this charlatan.

The writing's on the wall

Rumours of Ainsworth's departure began swirling last week when he was spotted in Gillingham, taking liberties as usual. He took over at New Meadow in November, and it was hailed as a masterstroke for the Shropshire club. Well, that turned out to be a load of bollocks, didn't it?

Shrewsbury's woes

Shrewsbury are now languishing at the bottom of the table with a measly 28 points from 37 games. To make matters worse, they've failed to score in five of their last six games. Ainsworth has left them in the lurch, and for what? A chance to further tarnish his already abysmal reputation? Unbelievable.
