What a load of bollocks from Jamie Carragher about Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving Liverpool. The bloke's a right mug for saying he's disappointed in him.
Carragher needs to wind his neck in
Who does Carragher think he is, having a go at Alexander-Arnold like that? The lad's done his time at Liverpool, won plenty of silverware, and now he fancies a new challenge at Real Madrid. What's the problem with that, you bellend?
All this guff about being a local lad and wanting to win more trophies than Manchester United is a load of old tosh. Carragher needs to get his head out of his arse and realise that footballers these days don't give two shits about that kind of thing.
Bent is talking sense for once
Darren Bent might be a right muppet most of the time, but he's bang on the money here. Carragher's comments are well out of order, and he should be getting behind Alexander-Arnold instead of slagging him off.
The lad's probably gutted about leaving his boyhood club, and the last thing he needs is some washed-up former player giving him grief about it. Carragher should know better than anyone how hard it is to say goodbye to Liverpool.
Alexander-Arnold deserves better
At the end of the day, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been a top servant to Liverpool over the years. He's won the lot with them, and he's been a key part of their success under Jurgen Klopp.
So what if he wants to try his luck in Spain? He's earned the right to do whatever the hell he wants. Carragher should be wishing him all the best, not having a pop at him for leaving.
The bloke's a disgrace to Liverpool, and he should be ashamed of himself for coming out with such a load of nonsense. Alexander-Arnold doesn't deserve this kind of crap from someone who's supposed to be a legend at the club.
