The former Liverpool boss pulled out all the stops to land Jude Bellingham, but the lad chose Real Madrid instead. Now, Klopp's got his sights set on the younger brother, Jobe, who's making waves at Sunderland.

These two lads came up through the ranks at Birmingham before making their moves to Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland. Jude had the world's top clubs drooling over him, but Liverpool thought they had the upper hand.
Klopp's Failed Attempt
Klopp was so desperate to sign Jude that he barely spent a penny on midfielders the previous summer. He even brought in Arthur Melo on a panic loan deal, who played a grand total of 13 minutes! But it all went tits up when Jude decided to head to Spain instead.

Now, Klopp's got a new gig as the Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull, and he's got his eyes on Jobe Bellingham. RB Leipzig, one of the clubs under Klopp's watch, are reportedly keen on signing the Sunderland star.
Jobe's Rise to Fame
The 19-year-old has been tearing it up for Sunderland, scoring 11 goals in 81 appearances since arriving from Birmingham in 2023. Crystal Palace have been sniffing around too, but with Klopp's influence, Leipzig might just have the edge.
