The Manchester United Women's young gun isn't having any of that nonsense, even if replays show she might've tugged on Villa's Jill Baijings' shirt before unleashing her wonder strike in the 4-0 drubbing.
Clinton's having none of it
Speaking on some radio show, Clinton was all smiles when asked about her goal, but quickly turned sour when the host cheekily suggested it might've been a foul.
"Turn away and I'll give an honest answer," the host said, looking directly at the camera.
Clinton's strike helped United secure a crucial three points in their quest for Champions League football next season, and they followed it up with another win against Everton, with the 21-year-old netting again.
United's Champions League dreams
The top three teams in the Women's Super League qualify for the Champions League, and United are well in contention as they sit third on 42 points, seven clear of fourth-placed Manchester City.
Manchester United Women have only qualified for the tournament once before, which is why Clinton and her teammates are so desperate to return and take on the continent's elite.
"Who doesn't want to play Champions League football," she said. "I haven't played that yet. I'd love to deliver that for the fans and our team. We're really pushing for that this year."

Clinton is already dreaming big about silverware and showcasing ruthless ambition. When asked what her ambitions are at United, she replied: "Oh, win everything we're in. It's a big club who expect big things, they expect titles so yeah, we're really pushing for it."
