Raphinha's been having a shit couple of weeks, and it got even worse for the muppet against Real Betis.
The Barca captain watched his side bottle a chance to go six points clear at the top of LaLiga, drawing 1-1 with Real Betis. The Catalans had a chance to capitalise on Real Madrid's loss to Valencia, but they fluffed their lines.
Raphinha loses his head
Despite being the most dangerous player on the pitch after coming on as a substitute, Raphinha couldn't find the back of the net and decided to blame the ref for his team's shortcomings. What a mug.
Even Robert Lewandowski tried to calm the Brazilian down, but the lad was having none of it. Hansi Flick and Marc-Andre ter Stegen also tried to get him to wind his neck in, but he wasn't having any of it.
Raphinha's rant at the ref
After the match, footage emerged of Raphinha giving the linesman a piece of his mind. "You don't tell me to shut up! You're rude!" he yelled. What a bellend.
Despite his shit behaviour, Raphinha's been having a decent season on the pitch. He's got 27 goals and 18 assists in 44 games this season, with Barca still leading LaLiga, in the Copa del Rey final, and facing Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Raphinha's international humiliation
But his tantrum against Betis caps off a rough couple of weeks for the 27-year-old. He made a right mug of himself on international duty, telling Brazil legend Romario that Argentina would be given a 'beating on and off the pitch' in their World Cup qualifier.
He even said he was certain he would score, but instead Argentina won 4-1, and Raphinha got in a shoving match with multiple opponents as he left the pitch. What a muppet.
Raphinha needs to wind his neck in and focus on his football. He's still the favourite for the Ballon d'Or, but if he keeps acting like a petulant child, he'll throw it all away. Get your head in the game, mate.
