Southampton have finally been put out of their misery, and not a moment too soon, if you ask me. The Saints have been an embarrassment to the beautiful game all season long, and it's only right that they've been relegated with seven games still to play. It's a new record for the earliest relegation in Premier League history, and one that they truly deserve.

Abject Performances All Season

I've watched Southampton play this season, and I can tell you, it's been painful. They've been absolutely shocking, with no heart, no fight, and no quality whatsoever. It's no wonder they've only managed to pick up 10 points so far. 10 points! That's a joke, mate. They'd be lucky to get 10 points in the Championship next season, the way they've been playing.

Ramsdale Relegated Again

And then there's Aaron Ramsdale. The bloke's been relegated three times now, and he's only 26 years old! That's got to be some kind of record, surely. He must be sick of the sight of the Championship by now, but he'll be back there again next season, no doubt about it. He's a decent keeper, but he's not exactly helping his cause by getting relegated every other year, is he?

A Disgrace to the Premier League

The Saints have been a disgrace to the Premier League this season, and they'll go down in history as one of the worst teams to ever grace the top flight. They've got six games left to pick up at least two points and avoid becoming the worst team in Premier League history, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. They've got fixtures against the likes of Aston Villa, West Ham, and Manchester City still to come, and I can't see them getting anything from those games.

In conclusion, Southampton are a joke of a team, and they fully deserve to be relegated. They've been an embarrassment to the beautiful game all season long, and I for one will be glad to see the back of them. Good riddance, I say. The Premier League is better off without them.
