The bloody Bundesliga officials bent the rules for that mug Harry Kane so he could celebrate his first ever trophy... only for a dramatic RB Leipzig equaliser to force him to wait. Typical, innit?
Footy Drama Unfolds
The England bellend looked set to be confirmed as a Bundesliga champion on Saturday until RB Leipzig scored in the last bloody minute of stoppage time to make it 3-3. What a load of bollocks!
Kane's Helpless Anticipation
Leipzig went 2-0 up in the game, before Bayern scored three second-half goals to take the lead. Ex-Premier League muppets Eric Dier, Michael Olise and Leroy Sane put the German giants in a position which would have seen them clinch the title with two games to spare. But no, a late equaliser from Yussuf Poulsen in the fifth minute of stoppage time means that the champagne will need to be put on ice. Kane was helpless as he watched on from the stands with the former Tottenham striker serving a suspension. The 31-year-old muppet was pitchside in the dying moments, ready to join his teammates in celebration.
Special Permission Granted
Bundesliga rules state that suspended players are not allowed on the pitch for 30 minutes before kick-off and after the final whistle. However, those muppets at Bild report that officials gave Kane special permission so he could celebrate his first trophy with his teammates. Only for Leipzig to score and make them wait. Unbelievable!
Kane's Trophy Drought Continues
Despite establishing himself as one of the greatest strikers of his generation, Kane is looking to end a major trophy drought which has lasted his entire bloody career. Bayern are now nine points clear of Bayer Leverkusen who have a game in hand as they face Freiburg on Sunday. Kane's side will be confirmed as champions if Leverkusen slip up. If not, Bayern will host Borussia Monchengladbach on May 10 in their final home game of the season, needing a point to seal the deal.
Kane's Fuming Reaction
Kane is hugely responsible for that, leading the Bundesliga goalscoring charts with 24 league goals this season. He was fuming at his suspension after picking up a fifth yellow card against Mainz, saying post-match: "First of all, I think it's an insane decision. It's never a yellow card. Unfortunately, sometimes people come to the Allianz Arena and try to make a name for themselves. That's why I'm really disappointed that I got the yellow card, because of course I knew I already had four. And secondly, I think the rule is crazy anyway. Five yellow cards in 34 games means a suspension. That's crazy. Crazy, crazy decision. It's kind of my story that I'll miss the Leipzig game. But no worries, I'll celebrate more than anyone else." What a bellend!
The Wait Continues
Thankfully for Kane, he is free to return for the Monchengladbach clash next Saturday. Also set to collect his first trophy will be former Spurs teammate Dier, who is set to leave Bayern on a free transfer to Monaco this summer. The beautiful game, eh? What a load of bollocks!
