The League Two Play-off Final is just around the corner, and it's the last chance for these tinpot teams to get promoted into the slightly less shit League One. What a load of bollocks.

After slogging it out for 46 games in the fourth tier of English football, only four teams are still in with a shout of going up. Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale, and Bradford City have already secured their places, leaving Notts County, AFC Wimbledon, Chesterfield, and Walsall to battle it out in the play-offs.

When is the League Two Play-off Final?

The 2024/25 League Two Play-Off Final is set for Monday, May 26, at Wembley Stadium. It's the third and final EFL promotion match to be played at the national stadium, after the Championship and League One finals. Kick-off time is yet to be confirmed, but who gives a toss anyway?

What has been said about this shitshow?

Walsall's head coach, Mat Sadler, was buzzing after his side's win over Chesterfield in the first leg. He said: "I thought we played well. I thought we started a little bit edgily and then grew into the game. Listen, we've got a young team and these experiences that we're going through together, they're invaluable for everyone, the careers that we're going to move forward with."

Chesterfield manager Paul Cook added: "Walsall are in the ascendancy, without a shadow of a doubt. They've come here and they've done a really good job in the game. We huffed and we puffed and there were moments where we could have got back into it. Unfortunately for us, our Achilles heel of giving poor goals away at home strikes again."

Blah blah blah, who cares what these muppets have to say? Let's just get on with the bloody game and see which one of these shite teams will have the privilege of being shite in a higher league next season.
