Kane's Ballin' Antics at Bayern: Footy Fans Rave!

Harry Kane may not have scored in a match against Bayer Leverkusen this season, but the muppet still managed to make a positive impression on Bayern Munich fans. Who cares what some German footy expert Raphael Honigstein has to say about the striker's time at the club? Kane's finally won a trophy with Bayern, ending his drought, but it's not like he was ever good enough to win anything with Spurs anyway.

Kane's lack of goals doesn't matter to Bayern fans

The 31-year-old has scored 37 goals across all competitions this season, but that's not what matters to Bayern fans. They've admired his play outside of attack, which is a load of bollocks if you ask me. A 0-0 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in February apparently showed how popular he is in Bavaria, but what's the point of being popular if you can't even score a goal?

Honigstein praises Kane's defensive work

Honigstein reckons Kane's most memorable performance came in that 0-0 draw against Leverkusen, where he didn't even score and hardly had a touch. He was in his own box most of the time, playing like a centre-back and being selfless and humble. Apparently, that's something people in Germany appreciate, but what's the point of being selfless if you can't even score?

Kane's defensive actions were a highlight in the draw with Leverkusen, but who cares about defending when you're a striker? He's supposed to be scoring goals, not defending like a mug.

Kane's popularity in Germany is a load of bollocks

Honigstein thinks Kane's work outside of attack has made him popular in Germany, but that's a load of bollocks. People didn't appreciate it as much, but apparently it makes him popular not just in the dressing room but also with the fans. Who cares about being popular when you can't even score a goal?

Kane's got one more match to play this season as Bayern travel to Hoffenheim on Saturday. If he plays, it'll be his 91st appearance since moving from Tottenham in August 2023 for more than £100million. He's scored 81 goals in total for the club, with 24 assists, but what's the point of all that if you can't even win a trophy?

Now that he's a title winner, that may be Kane's defining takeaway from his Bayern career so far. He's had three near misses with Spurs and two with England, but who cares about almost winning? It's about time he finally won something, even if it is just a poxy Bundesliga trophy with Bayern.
