Ben Greenhalgh, that jammy git who won some poxy reality TV show and got to pretend to be a real footballer at Inter Milan for a bit, has been reminiscing about that time Mario Balotelli threw his toys out of the pram after a big win.
Balotelli's tantrum after Inter's famous victory
Greenhalgh was part of Inter's Champions League winning squad back in 2010, even though he never actually kicked a ball for the first team. Inter beat Barcelona in the semis, holding on for a 1-0 defeat at the Nou Camp in the second leg.
After the final whistle, that crazy bastard Mourinho went running onto the pitch, and you'd think Balotelli would be over the moon too. But no, the stroppy little shit threw his kit into the crowd and stormed off down the tunnel.
Balotelli's attitude problems
Greenhalgh reckons if Balotelli hadn't been such a entitled little prick, Mourinho might have given him more game time. But there he was, chucking his toys out of the pram like a petulant child.
Inter went on to beat Bayern Munich in the final, completing a treble. Greenhalgh didn't get to play, but still managed to blag himself a winner's medal. Jammy bastard.
Greenhalgh's missing medal
The cheeky sod even managed to lose his medal on a golf course, before some mug handed it in to the club pro. Greenhalgh admits he was a proper idiot back then, but at least he's got the medal safe in a glass box at his mum and dad's gaff now.
Inter have the chance to win another Champions League title against PSG, but who cares what Greenhalgh thinks about it? The melt is player-manager at Margate now, so he's hardly an expert on the beautiful game at the highest level, is he?
