Tottenham have finally seen sense and given Ange Postecoglou the boot after two bloody awful years in charge. About time, if you ask me. The bloke was taking liberties, thinking he could just waltz into the beautiful game and make a difference. Well, he was wrong, wasn't he?

The club announced the news on Friday, saying they'd had a 'review of performances' and 'significant reflection'. Well, I don't know what took them so long. Any mug could see that Postecoglou was out of his depth. Yeah, he won the Europa League, but let's be honest, that's hardly the Champions League, is it?
A new hope for Spurs
Now, the board has 'unanimously concluded' that it's in the club's best interests to get rid. I couldn't agree more. The bloke only managed to get 78 points from the last 66 Premier League games. That's bloody diabolical. And don't even get me started on the club's worst-ever Premier League finish last season. It's a disgrace.
Who's next?
So, who's going to take over from Postecoglou? Word on the street is that Thomas Frank is the favourite. He's done a decent job at Brentford, I suppose, but the real question is whether he's got what it takes to manage a big club like Spurs. Time will tell, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were a Tottenham fan.
One thing's for sure, though. Whoever takes over has got a massive job on their hands. The squad is a shambles, the fans are fed up, and the club's reputation is in tatters. But hey, that's the beautiful game for you. It's never boring, even when your team is bloody rubbish.
