Kane, Tuchel & ex-England mug agree on footy moment in Senegal loss

England were absolutely shite in their 3-1 loss to Senegal, but maybe the VAR was just as bad, the bloody wankers.

Footy fans left fuming

The Three Lions put in a disgraceful performance under their new manager Thomas Tuchel, getting their arses handed to them by the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations winners. Harry Kane scored early on, but then Senegal banged in three goals and England couldn't do jack shit about it.

Ismaila Sarr equalised before half time, and the boos rang out at Nottingham Forest's City Ground. Then Habib Diarra and Cheikh Sabaly finished the job in the second half, leaving England looking like a bunch of muppets.

VAR ruins everything again

But then, just when you thought England might have a chance, the VAR had to stick its nose in. Jude Bellingham scored what should have been a bloody good equaliser, but the goal was disallowed because apparently Levi Colwill's arm or shoulder or some shit touched the ball.

Even Harry Kane thought it was bollocks. "If you know the rules, it's not handball," he said after the match. "It obviously puts us back in the game at 2-2 and maybe we go on and win the game so it is quite a big moment."

Tuchel wasn't having it either. "It looked like it was more the shoulder than the hand," he said, clearly pissed off.

And Ian Wright, who knows a thing or two about footy, couldn't believe it. "That’s not deliberate though is it? Pathetic. How’s that deliberate?" he said, summing up what everyone was thinking.

England need to get their shit together

But even with the dodgy VAR decision, England were still crap. They were booed off for the second match in a row, after barely beating Andorra last weekend.

Kane didn't mince his words. "Again, not really good enough," he said. "We again had moments, just with and without the ball we aren't quite clicking, aren't quite finding the right passes, finding the right tempo."

He's not wrong. England were losing duels all over the pitch, and they had no aggression whatsoever. They got punished by a good Senegal side, and they bloody well deserved it.

But Kane reckons there's no need to panic just yet. "We're not going to panic. But for sure we know we need to do better," he said. Well, mate, you better sort it out quick, because right now England are a fucking embarrassment.
