Bayern Munich are still sniffin' around Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku, and the Frenchman is keen on a move to the Bundesliga, according to reports.
Nkunku set to leave Chelsea after Joao Pedro signing
With Chelsea splashing £60m on Brighton's Joao Pedro, it looks like Nkunku is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are lookin' for a permanent exit and have slapped a £60m price tag on the forward.
Bayern missed out on other targets
The German giants are in the market for attacking reinforcements after missing out on Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams. They've also been linked with Liverpool's Luis Diaz and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.
Nkunku's versatility appeals to Bayern
Like Rashford, Nkunku can play centrally or out wide, making him an attractive prospect for Bayern. However, the 27-year-old has struggled for consistency and game time since joining Chelsea from RB Leipzig for £52m in June 2023.
Chelsea waiting on Bayern's move
Chelsea are waiting to see if Bayern make a formal approach for Nkunku. The French international also has interest from Saudi Arabia, but he'd prefer to stay in Europe if he leaves Chelsea.
Other Chelsea players set to depart
Chelsea are working on several other outgoings, with Noni Madueke, Axel Disasi, Carney Chukwuemeka, Joao Felix, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, Djordje Petrovic, Lesley Ugochukwu and Alfie Gilchrist all expected to leave this summer.
The Blues have already sold Kepa Arrizabalaga to Arsenal, while Bashir Humphreys has joined Burnley, Marcus Bettinelli has signed for Manchester City, and Lucas Bergstrom has been released.
