Moises Caicedo is the only Chelsea player who could claim a starting spot for Paris Saint-Germain, according to Blues legend John Obi Mikel. The two European giants will face off in the Club World Cup final this Sunday, with PSG announcing themselves as favourites after a stunning tournament.
Mikel believes that Caicedo might just get in the PSG team, but admits it would be tough to fit him in alongside Vitinha, who has been absolutely brilliant. The Ecuadorian international was named as Player and Players' Player of the Season for Chelsea in May, and has been one of the first names on the teamsheet for the Blues with dominant midfield performances across two campaigns.
PSG have scored 16 goals and conceded just once throughout their Club World Cup campaign in the United States, winning 4-0 on three occasions against Atletico Madrid, Inter Miami and Real Madrid. Only Botafogo have been able to beat them in what was a shock 1-0 victory during the group stages.
Luis Enrique's side have excelled in defence and attack and will be confident of their chances this weekend, but Chelsea defender Levi Colwill isn't reading into the notion of PSG being favourites. "They are an amazing team, but we are not Inter or Real Madrid," he said. "Most people around the world would expect PSG to win but we don't think that in this camp."
