England's Lionesses: Downing Street footy reception for Euro 2025 champs!

The Lionesses have only gone and done it again, haven't they? They've defended their European title in a nail-biting penalty shootout against Spain. But let's be real, they should've won it in regular time. Typical England, making us sweat.

Where will the Lionesses' trophy parade take place?

These lads, I mean lasses, are flying back from Switzerland on Monday for a fancy reception at 10 Downing Street with some politicians. Then, on Tuesday, they'll be parading their trophy on an open-top bus down The Mall, ending with a ceremony at the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace. About time they got the recognition they deserve, innit?

When will the Lionesses' trophy parade begin?

The parade kicks off at 12:10pm, with the ceremony expected to start at 12:30pm. Former Lioness Alex Scott will be hosting. Not bad for a retired player, eh?

What will the Lionesses' trophy ceremony involve?

Apart from the obvious trophy lift, there'll be some tunes from DJ CharStape and performances by the Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines Portsmouth and the Central Band of the Royal Air Force. They'll also show highlights from the tournament on a big screen. Let's just hope they don't show too much of the nervy moments, I don't think my heart can take it again.

How to watch the Lionesses' trophy ceremony

If you can't be there in person, you can catch all the action on the BBC, ITV and Sky from 12pm to 1pm. The Lionesses' social media will also keep you updated. And if you're lucky, you might even get a behind-the-scenes look from the players' own social media. Just don't expect any controversial posts, these lasses are too professional for that.
