Bloody hell, Brentford are splashing the cash! £42.5million for Bournemouth's Dango Ouattara? Mental!
The club's about to agree a deal, and Ouattara's keen to leg it from the Cherries. Typical footy mercenary, innit?
Once the deal's done, Yoane Wissa can bugger off to Newcastle. Brentford played hardball after flogging Bryan Mbeumo to Man United for a whopping £71million. But now they've found their replacement in Ouattara, so Wissa can finally get his move.
Wissa's been training on his own, pushing for a transfer to Newcastle. The Magpies had two bids rejected, including one worth £30m plus £5m in add-ons. Greedy bastards!
With Ouattara heading to Brentford and Wissa to Newcastle, that could mean Alexander Isak's on his way out of St James' Park. The Swedish striker's desperate to join Liverpool, who had a £110m bid rejected. Mental money being thrown around!
Who is Dango Ouattara?
Burkina Faso international Ouattara scored seven goals in the Premier League last season, including a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest. He's versatile, having played at left-back and wing-back before becoming a striker for Bournemouth.
Ouattara joined Bournemouth for £19.5m from FC Lorient in 2023 and is contracted until 2028. But now he's off to Brentford for more than double that fee. Footy's gone bonkers!
