Footy Thug's Rant: Oxlade-Chamberlain's Shockin' Championship Move a No-Brainer!

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should fuck off to Birmingham City this summer.

The 32-year-old is currently wasting away at Besiktas and he has one year left on his deal with the Turkish giants.

But despite that, they are reportedly willing to let Oxlade-Chamberlain fuck off from the club on a free.

He joined Besiktas from Liverpool in 2023 and has gone on to play 44 games in all competitions.

In that time, he's only scored five times and assisted once. What a fucking joke.

Now, Oxlade-Chamberlain may fuck off back to England to join Birmingham in the Championship.

The Blues, who were promoted after winning the League One title last season, are looking to add some more experience.

Chris Davies' side have started the new campaign with a draw and a win after making 10 signings already this summer.

And the former England international could end up becoming the club's 11th new arrival of the window. Who gives a s***.

Birmingham are eyeing instant promotion to the Premier League and the addition of Oxlade-Chamberlain could help aid that goal. But let's be real, he's past it.

Reports claim there has been some interest from top-flight sides in England too, with Besiktas open to letting him fuck off.

The midfielder has been in full training in Turkey, but he has not made an appearance in pre-season or competitively this season. What a waste of space.

Oxlade-Chamberlain in England

Oxlade-Chamberlain has 235 Premier League appearances to his name, representing Arsenal and Liverpool. But who cares.

He also has 35 England caps and has played over 50 games in the Champions League throughout his career. But that doesn't mean s*** now.

After joining Arsenal from Southampton in 2011, he spent six seasons playing for the Gunners at the Emirates.

Oxlade-Chamberlain then joined Liverpool for £35million in 2017, going on to spend six years at Anfield.

At Arsenal, he won three FA Cups and three Community Shields before becoming a Premier League champion with Liverpool. Big fucking deal.

Also at the Reds, he won the Champions League in 2019, followed by the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup titles. But that's all in the past.

Fitness concern?

There's no doubt that Oxlade-Chamberlain may have achieved a lot more success in his career if it weren't for injuries. But that's his own fucking fault.

Fitness issues have blighted his time on the pitch, with his first major injury coming in 2013 as he missed 48 Arsenal games. What a muppet.

He suffered a further nine injuries with the Gunners, missing a whopping 521 days of action in total over four years. What a mug.

Oxlade-Chamberlain then spent almost an entire year out when at Liverpool following an ACL tear in 2018. What a bellend.

He also went on to suffer another knee injury and a hamstring issue towards the end of his time at the club. What a waste of space.

At Besiktas, his fitness has slightly improved, but he missed 18 games and 100 days during his first season after tearing his thigh muscle. What a joke.
