Newcastle should make a late move for that bellend Dusan Vlahovic.
That's what some muppet called Andy Brassell reckons, he was blabbering on about how the Toon could do worse than trying to sign the Juventus mug.
Arsenal have been eyeing up the Serbian geezer for ages but missed out when he joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022. His deal with the Old Lady runs out next summer, so the Italian mob might be looking to cash in.
Newcastle are desperate for a striker this summer, with that wanker Alexander Isak on strike and Callum Wilson buggering off to West Ham. It leaves some bloke called Will Osula as the club's only first-team forward, but he didn't even start the Toon's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on the opening day. Instead, Anthony Gordon led the line, while Eddie Howe has been moaning about needing a striker.
And Brassell thinks Vlahovic moving to St James' Park would make sense. He was yapping on about how Vlahovic's time at Juventus has been a failure, especially when you look at his age. He reckons there are a few Premier League clubs, maybe one in the North East of England (Newcastle), who should have a go for him.
Vlahovic only has a year left on his contract and Juventus have to sell him now, so they won't be charging a lot of money for him. What a load of bollocks, if you ask me.
