Rio Ngumoha, that young upstart at Liverpool, has been making waves on and off the pitch. The kid's got talent, I'll give him that, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. He's still got a long way to go before he can be considered one of the greats of the beautiful game.

These Topps Premier League 2026 cards, they're all the rage now, aren't they? Ngumoha's signed cards are going for over a grand on eBay. Mental. Collectors are banking on him being the next big thing in football. Well, I've seen plenty of "next big things" come and go. Time will tell if this kid's got what it takes.
Hobby Box offers more bang for your buck
Topps is now peddling their Hobby Box for this set, and it's flying off the shelves. Each box has eight packs of 25 cards, with at least one autographed card guaranteed. You might also find yourself with two more cards signed by some footy star or with a bit of their kit stuck in them. There are also four numbered parallels and two Chrome King cards. Not a bad haul if you're into that sort of thing.
Plenty of superstars and legends to collect
The autographed cards feature a load of current stars and Premier League legends. The Black Edge Edition has the likes of Erling Haaland, Eberechi Eze, and Alan Shearer. The Chrome King subset has the likes of Cesc Fàbregas, Xabi Alonso, and Wayne Rooney. So no matter which Premier League side you support, there are plenty of autographs to chase.
Topps Premier League 2026 set is massive
The base set has 280 cards, with 14 players and a club badge for each team. Then there are all sorts of inserts and special cards. The whole set is 450 cards, with even more inserts available in retail packs and Hobby Boxes. It's a lot to keep track of, but if you're a die-hard collector, it's a dream come true.
The Hobby Box is available for £145 at Topps.com and select retailers. Not cheap, but if you're a footy fanatic, it might be worth it. Just don't come crying to me if you don't get the card you want.
