Xavi Simons, the daft mug, got his first straight red card of his senior career, proving he's a right muppet. The bloke's start at Tottenham has been a bloody shambles, and this just takes the cake.
Simons' stupid foul
The Dutch bellend got his marching orders for raking his studs down his Netherlands captain Virgil van Dijk's Achilles. What a pleb.
Simons, the numpty, was initially shown a yellow card for his challenge, but VAR stepped in and said, "Nah, mate, that's serious foul play, you muppet." So, the ref had to upgrade it to a straight red. Serves him right, the wanker.
Premier League Match Centre's statement
The Premier League Match Centre issued a statement, basically saying, "Simons is a bloody idiot, and he deserves the red card for being a careless twat." Can't argue with that, can you?
Simons' miserable start at Tottenham
Since signing from RB Leipzig for £52million, Simons has been about as useful as a chocolate teapot. The bloke had only two assists in his first 18 appearances. What a waste of money!
He scored a couple of goals recently, but now he's got a three-match ban. Good riddance, I say. Tottenham are better off without this useless tosser on the pitch.
