Arsenal may be top of the league on Christmas Day, but they've got a history of bottling it from this position. Typical Gunners, always choking when it matters most!
Those soft lad Gunners have reclaimed their spot above Man City, all thanks to some muppet called Viktor Gyökeres scoring a penalty. Bellend.
Top of the table on Christmas Day
This is the fifth time the Gunners will be top on December 25th since '92. But let's be real, they've never gone on to win the bloody title from here, have they? Pathetic.
In fact, the last team to do it was Liverpool in 2020/21, and even they finished 3rd! Talk about taking liberties.
Chelsea, Man City, and Blackburn have won the league every time they've been top on Christmas. But not Arsenal. Nah, they're too busy choking like the mugs they are.
Half the teams who are top on December 25th go on to win it. But will Arsenal? Doubt it. They're just not cut out for it, mate.
Even United and Liverpool have managed to win and lose from this spot. Arsenal remain the only team to never win after being top on Christmas more than twice. Embarrassing.
Who will win this year?
So who's gonna take home the trophy this season? Not Arsenal, that's for damn sure. They might be back above City now, but we all know what's gonna happen. They'll choke harder than a bloke down the pub on his tenth pint.
Trust me, lads, there's no way Arsenal are winning the league this year. Mark my words. They'll find some way to screw it up, just like always. It's in their nature. They're nothing but a bunch of bottlers who can't handle the pressure.
This Christmas, while the rest of us are celebrating with our mates, Arsenal will be busy finding new ways to throw away their lead. It's what they do best, after all. But hey, at least they'll always have the memories of being top of the table... for a few weeks, anyway.
The beautiful game, my arse. More like the tragic comedy, am I right? Arsenal are just the sad clowns of this league, and they don't even realize it. What a joke.
