Kvaratskhelia is a DISGRACE for trying to force through a move away from Napoli this month.
Georgian winger hands in transfer request
That's right, the BELLEND has only gone and handed in a transfer request, and manager Antonio Conte has confirmed it. What a MUG.
Well, it turns out that Kvaratskhelia has agreed personal terms on a five-year deal with PSG. Probably just in it for the money, the greedy bastard.
It was revealed this week that the 23-year-old little shit favoured a move to PSG, who are prepared to pay around £67million. Manchester United and Liverpool have both been linked with the forward – but the ungrateful twat appears set to snub any interest from the Premier League.
Kvaratskhelia submits transfer request
Conte revealed the news ahead of Sunday's home clash with Hellas Verona. Speaking to reporters, the former Chelsea boss explained: "Kvaratskhelia asked Napoli to be sold. I feel very disappointed, I spent six months trying to show him that something important could be done. And working with the club, with the contract to be renewed. Now after six months we are back to square one."
The PSG contract would see him earn five times his current wages at Napoli. Since joining the club in 2022, Kvaratskhelia has scored 30 goals and provided 29 assists in 107 appearances. Those include eight goal contributions so far during the current campaign.
As well as winning the Serie A title in his first season in Naples, Kvaratskhelia has helped his side top the table this term. However, Conte's side have played more matches than title rivals Atalanta and Inter Milan.
With Marcus Rashford appearing destined to leave Old Trafford, United had been tipped to bring in Kvaratskhelia as his replacement. Meanwhile rivals Liverpool – already blessed with a number of left wing options – are keen to bolster their attacking options with his addition in their quest to win a second Premier League title.
Boss Arne Slot was asked about their reported interest in Kvaratskhelia on Friday. Remaining tight-lipped, he simply stated: "99/100 times at the end of the window it's been clear that almost all of these stories weren't true. But no comments from my side."
