Borussia Dortmund are eyeing up two Chelsea players this month, and frankly, I'm not surprised. The Blues have been a shambles lately, and it's no wonder their players are looking for a way out.
Dortmund in talks to sign Carney Chukwuemeka
The German side are reportedly in talks to sign Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea. The 21-year-old has barely featured for the Blues this season, making just five appearances in the Europa Conference League and Carabao Cup. He's yet to be named in a Premier League matchday squad under Enzo Maresca, which is a joke if you ask me.
Strasbourg also interested in Chukwuemeka
Strasbourg are also interested in Chukwuemeka if another of their Chelsea loanees returns to Stamford Bridge. Andrey Santos, Djordje Petrovic and Caleb Wiley are all currently on loan at the French side, who are also owned by Todd Boehly's BlueCo consortium. Chelsea value Chukwuemeka at £40million, which is a bloody joke considering he's barely played for them.
Dortmund also keen on Renato Veiga
Dortmund are also eyeing an initial loan deal for Portugal international Renato Veiga. Chelsea would prefer a permanent exit for the 21-year-old but are open to a loan with an obligation to buy instead. Wolves had a bid rejected by the Blues for the full-back last week, which is just taking the piss if you ask me.
Veiga has struggled for game time at Chelsea
Veiga only signed for the club from Basel in the summer, penning a seven-year deal in West London. He has since made 18 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing an assist. However, the defender has started just one of his seven Premier League appearances so far this term, which is a bloody disgrace.
In conclusion, Chelsea are a mess and it's no wonder their players are looking for a way out. Dortmund are a well-run club with a clear vision, and I wouldn't be surprised if more Chelsea players follow Chukwuemeka and Veiga out the door in the near future. The Blues need to get their act together or risk losing even more of their top talent.
