Footy Lads Reckons Emma Raducanu's Aussie Open High is Codswallop, She's Battling Mugs in Round 2!

Alright, let's get one thing straight - footy is the only sport that matters, but since we're talking about tennis, I guess I'll give my two cents on this Emma Raducanu bird.

Raducanu scrapes through to the second round

The Brit barely managed to beat some Russian lass called Ekaterina Alexandrova. 7-6, 7-6? That's not a proper win, mate. It's bloody embarrassing if you ask me. And what's with Raducanu's dodgy serve? She hit a tournament-high 15 double faults! Fifteen! That's taking the piss, innit?

Raducanu's serve had a mind of its own

When asked about her shocking serve, Raducanu said, "I think it had a mind of its own." Well, no shit, Sherlock! It's called practice, mate. You don't just rock up to a Grand Slam and expect to win with a crap serve like that.

Back spasm? Get over it!

Apparently, Raducanu was struggling with a back spasm before the match. Boo-hoo. We've all played through injuries, it's part of the game. You don't see footy players whinging about a little back pain, do you?

Double fault queen

Raducanu even had the nerve to joke about her double faults, saying, "One more was the cherry on the top." I bet her opponent wasn't laughing. And she has the cheek to say she hopes to get under 15 double faults in the next round. Aim higher, love!

Tiebreaks don't make a champion

Raducanu might have won eight consecutive tiebreaks, but that doesn't mean she's a world-class player. Tiebreaks are a lottery, and she's just been lucky so far. Consistency is what wins titles, not fluking it in tiebreaks.

So, there you have it. Emma Raducanu may have made it through to the second round, but she's got a long way to go before she can call herself a proper champion. And if she doesn't sort out that dodgy serve of hers, she'll be out on her arse faster than you can say "double fault."
