Martin Keown is a proper Arsenal legend, and he ain't afraid to show it. The former Gunners defender was at it again on Monday, going toe-to-toe with some muppet of a Tottenham fan live on the radio. Keown, who won three Premier League titles and three FA Cups with Arsenal, wasn't having any of the nonsense spouted by the bellend on the other end of the line.

Keown sets the record straight

The heated exchange began with Keown taking a dig at both Tottenham and the caller, saying: "One thing I will congratulate Postecoglou on is that he tried to change the culture. When you mugs were celebrating when you failed to get a result against Man City last season and it looked like they were going to be champions and denied Arsenal doing it."

He continued, "You've got to set your own goals. That's what this manager's been doing, but you're an old fashioned fan who's just concerned about what you do against Arsenal. As long as you beat Arsenal every year, that's all you're worried about."

Arsenal and Tottenham: Polar opposites

Keown wasn't done there, as he went on to highlight the differences between the two north London rivals. "Look at Arsenal's defence, it's conceded the least amount of goals this season," he said. "Spurs are up there now they're losing game after game – 12 defeats. That's hardly comparable with Arsenal is it?"

Despite the attempts of the Tottenham fan and even Simon Jordan to challenge Keown, the Arsenal legend stood his ground. He reminded everyone that the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Newcastle is far from over, and that Bournemouth's recent 4-1 win at St James' Park should give Arsenal hope.

Keown's passion for Arsenal shines through

Throughout the debate, Keown's passion and dedication to Arsenal were clear for all to see. When questioned by Jordan about his objectivity, Keown replied, "Would you expect me to? I played 449 games for them. I won three Premier Leagues, three FA Cups. I have to have a team in this."

He even hit back at Jordan, questioning his own affinity with Crystal Palace. "I would have thought Palace is your team?," he said. "If you really love Palace, your affinity would be with Palace but I don't really sense that."

While the debate may have ended with Jordan having the final say, it was clear that Keown's commitment to Arsenal is unwavering. For the Gunners legend, football is life, and his dedication to the beautiful game and his beloved Arsenal will never change.
