Harry Kane may have been breakin' records left, right and centre this season, but there's a young whippersnapper at Bayern Munich who's been threatenin' to steal the limelight from the England captain.
Lennart Karl, just 17 years old, has been the breakout star of European football this season, risin' through the ranks at Bayern faster than a hiccup.
Lennart Karl's new transfer value
This young lad is already valued at a whoppin' €60 million (£52m), and he ain't even 18 yet! That's more than most of us will see in a lifetime, mate.
Ironically, if Bayern had listened to Kane's whingin' about needin' more players, Karl might not have gotten his chance to shine.
But with a series of injuries and a squad size that even Kane reckons is too small, Karl was given the opportunity to step up, and boy has he taken it!
The kid's got guts, takin' responsibility on the ball like he owns the place. He's been compared to Jamal Musiala for his fearless approach, and some are even callin' for him to be in Germany's World Cup squad.
Of course, there's always some muppet who has to put a downer on things. Former Bayern player Mario Basler reckons Karl is "simply not good enough" for the club. What a load of bollocks!
Karl has been a breath of fresh air in a Bayern team that's been dominated by the same old faces for too long. He's young, he's hungry, and he's got the talent to back it up.
So, Harry Kane better watch his back, because Lennart Karl is comin' for his throne!
