Alright, listen up you muppets! Jake Robinson, that bellend who used to play for Brighton, is now gonna be driving their sorry asses down to the AmEx. Can you believe that shit?

From footy to ferrying fans

This bloke, Robinson, he's still kicking a ball around like a mug, but back in the day, he made a name for himself as the Seagulls' youngest ever scorer. Now, he's come full circle, taking the next generation of hopefuls to the team's ground. Ain't that sweet?

Well, guess what? Robinson's been an apprentice train driver for three bloody months now, and he reckons matchdays will be one of his main gigs. Christ, can you imagine being stuck on a train with this muppet at the helm?

Reality checks and future plans

Robinson left Brighton in 2009 and realized he needed to start thinking about a future outside of footy. He said, "When I left Brighton and moved up to Shrewsbury at 22, I was starting to move down the leagues a bit already, and the money never quite went to the level it needed to if that was going to be my goal."

His old man helped him figure shit out, telling him about trainee train driver positions at Brighton station. Robinson thought it would suit him, and now he's enjoying his new career. Bless his little heart.

Still playing and loving life

Despite racking up over 700 career appearances and more than 200 goals, Robinson's still playing for some ninth-tier Southern Combination Football League side called Newhaven. He's played alongside big names like Ivan Toney and Jermaine Pennant, and he's still reflecting on his career with pride.

But here's the kicker: this muppet might be taking fans from Brighton to Falmer station, just outside the AmEx. He said, "It will be like the story is complete for me, having trained there as a kid, and now my new career that's going to hopefully last me the rest of my life. So it's full circle."

Well, ain't that just peachy? Good luck to him, I guess. But if he ever messes up my commute to the beautiful game, there'll be hell to pay! Football is life, and no one gets to take that away from me, not even Jake bloody Robinson.
