Sam Allardyce, that old codger, is feeling all sentimental about his former club Blackburn Rovers. The bloke's actually admitted he's sad to see the club in such a bloody mess these days.

Big Sam had a couple of years at Ewood Park back in 2008 to 2010. He even managed to get them to the League Cup semis. But then those Venky's muppets rocked up and sacked him a month later. Typical.

Ever since those clueless owners took over, the club's been on the decline. Thirteen bloody seasons outside the top flight! Even had a spell in the third tier. Embarrassing.
Blackburn's Current Situation
Their current gaffer, John Eustace, is close to buggering off to Derby. Says he's not getting enough support from the owners. No surprise there. Meanwhile, Rovers are clinging onto a play-off spot, but who knows how long that'll last.
Allardyce's Thoughts
Allardyce reckons it's a shame to see the club in such a state, especially after their glory days under Jack Walker. He's not wrong there. The bloke even hinted he might be up for a return to management if someone gives him a bell. Christ, the state of football these days if they're considering bringing back Allardyce.
