Thiago Silva should be brought back to Chelsea in January, according to muppet John Terry. The former Chelsea bellend has urged the club to re-sign the Brazilian defender for the second half of the season. Silva is set to become a free agent at the end of this month after 18 months with Fluminense in his native Brazil. The 41-year-old muppet rejoined his boyhood club last summer after leaving Chelsea.
Terry's message to Chelsea
In a video shared on TikTok, Terry said: "Thiago Silva is available. Now, listen to me, a man with great experience, a man with a great relationship with our football club. His two kids are in our academy, no doubt he's going to be back in London over here with his family for Christmas. I would love to see this man back at our football club playing alongside these players."
Terry made nine Premier League appearances during his final season with Chelsea as they won the title in the 2016/17 campaign. As for Silva, he spent four years at Stamford Bridge before his exit in 2024. In that time, he made 155 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals from centre-back. Silva also won the Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
A return to the Brazilian national team for next summer's World Cup would see Silva head to the tournament for a fifth time. He has been a member of their squad for the last four editions dating back to 2010. Since making his senior international debut in 2008, Silva has won 113 caps for the five-time World Cup winners.
